Well, I am officially the mother of a high school Graduate. My son, along with 599 other kids graduated last night in what was the longest ceremony I have ever attended. It was also the largest graduating class in the history of the San Joaquin County. The entire time he sat with his class he was sending text messages to his step dad, brother and friend Zach. I am sure they were all restless to 'get the party started'. He left shortly after getting home and I am HOPING he had a sober graduation. We have a luncheon at noon for another family friend who graduated with him. Hopefully he's getting plenty of rest right now. As I tried pounding the whole sober graduation into his head he told me I needed to... Cut the strings. I am and always will be an over protective mom. If I had it my way I would keep him here safe and sound but I know I have to let him grow up and make his own decisions and mistakes. It seems like just yesterday I was holding him in the hospital thinking. ..This beautiful baby came out of me?

Congrats! job well done mom!! that's right you deserve credit for this accomplishment too....no child gets that far without the help of a loving parent.

Thank you so much, love the prim. Congrats, sometimes I think moms work almost as hard as they do to get them to this point. It just so hard to watch them take first steps.
Excellent job, Mom! We all worry about our children, no matter what age they are...and where life takes them!
